Text entered into a search form, such as a name, telephone number, or address, goes to the third-party provider that supplies the results. We do not retain those searches on our servers. A direct message gives us only the details you choose to send, and we use them to answer you.

Government portals, Wake County and state offices, library collections, and outside search tools set their own privacy rules. Information sent to one of those services is covered by its policy rather than ours. Sponsored results are also supplied by an outside company.

Safeguarding Your Data
